The Bulgarian Institute of Egyptology (BIE) was established as a scientific research project to develop the Egyptology in Bulgaria with the cooperation of B.A., M.A. and PhD programs at the NBU. The aims of the institute are to work in the field of the study of the Egyptian Language and culture, Ancient Egyptian Religion and texts; to establish Bulgarian archaeological mission in Egypt and epigraphic projects; to popularize the study of Egyptology in Bulgaria.
For BIE website we implemented a custom WordPress theme to present the projects and activities of the Institute and its members.
